Trullinger (Ref obit photo) (November 21, 1923 - March 18, 2013) Vesta Mae Trullinger, 89, passed away March 18, 2013 at Good Samaritan Care Center in Indianola where she spent the final years of her life. Vesta was born November 21, 1923 in Shenandoah, IA to Carl Marion and Anna Mae Trullinger. She retired from the State of Iowa as a Data Entry Operator and was a member of Capital Hill Christian Church. Vesta is survived by her brother, Robert (Joy) Trullinger and ten nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Maxine Rice, Ardith Law and Donald Trullinger. A memorial service will be held at 1:30 p.m., Saturday, March 30 at Merle Hay Funeral Home, 4400 Merle Hay Rd., Des Moines, IA, 50310 with burial to follow at Chapel Hill Gardens Cemetery. The family will greet friends prior to the service, beginning at 1 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Good Samaritan Care Center or to the Iowa Chapter of the Alzheimer's Association.
