WASHINGTON, Nov. 9 - Dr. Robert W. Trullinger, a retired farm research official, died yesterday in Doctors Hospital after a long illness. He was 66 years old.
As a former assistant administrator of the Agriculitural Research Service, Dr. Trullinger was widely known for his work in land-grant colleges and agricultural experiment stations throughout the country. He served the Agriculture Department for forty-three years before his retirement on May 27.
He advocated close cooperation between the states and the Federal Government in agricultural research, and between research and extension work for the improvement of American farming. From 1946 until last spring, Dr. Trullinger administered all Federal grants for agricultural research at all the state experimental stations and at Federal territorial reseach centers.

Funeral Home, 2901 14th st. nw., after 12 noon Thursday (free parking). Services at the above Funeral Home on Monday, November 14, at 10 a.m. Interment Arlington National Cemetery.
