On December 4, 1981, of Hyattsville, Md., beloved wife of Roy C. Dawson, devoted mother of Russell A. and Robert W. Dawson. She was also survived by five grandchildren. Friends may call at Gasch's Funeral Home, 4739 Baltimore ave, Hyattsville, Md, from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday, where services will be held at 10 am Tuesday, December 8. Interment Fort Lincoln Cemetery. By request of the family, memorial contributions may be made to the Cancer Fund, 6255 Beicrest rd., Hyattsville, Md. 20782.

'Roy C. Dawsons On Wedding Trip Through South' (headline)
Mr. and Mrs. Roy Carlton Dawson are on their Southern wedding trip and will visit New Orleans. The marriage of the former Miss Virginia Trullinger, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert W. Trullinger, took place Saturday afternoon at 4 o'clock in the Church of Our Saviour, with the Rev. Alvin Lamar Wills officiating.
The bride was given in marriage by her father. She wore a suit of pale blue and a corsage of orchids. Her flowered hat matched the ensemble. Miss Ernestine M. Loeffler was the bride's only attendant. William A. Noite was best man.
A reception and buffet supper was given at the home of the bride's parents. White flowers were used with palms to decorate the house.
The bride was graduated from Ohio State University. Mr. Dawson, who is the son of Mrs. Virginia Dawson, was graduated from the University of Maryland. Both received M.S. degrees at the University of Maryland.

Mr. and Mrs. Robert W. Trullinger announce the engagement of their daughter, Virginia, to Roy Carlton Dawson, son of Mrs. Virginia Dawson, of this city. The wedding ceremony will take place March 8,at the Church of Our Saviour in Washington.
The bride was guest of honor recently at a tea and miscellaneous shower given by Miss Ernestine Loeffler, who is to be the maid of honor. Dr. Herbert Florestano will be best man. [sic]

WASHINGTON, Nov. 9 - Dr. Robert W. Trullinger, a retired farm researchofficial, died yesterday in Doctors Hospital after a long illness. Hewas 66 years old.
As a former assistant administrator of the Agriculitural ResearchService, Dr. Trullinger was widely known for his work in land-grantcolleges and agricultural experiment stations throughout the country.He served the Agriculture Department for forty-three years before hisretirement on May 27.
He advocated close cooperation between the states and the FederalGovernment in agricultural research, and between research andextension work for the improvement of American farming. From 1946until last spring, Dr. Trullinger administered all Federal grants foragricultural research at all the state experimental stations and atFederal territorial reseach centers.
