Rice, age 51, of Lincoln, died August 18th. Born December 18,1959 in Iowa to Marvin and Lorene (Trullinger) Rice. Dale served in the U.S. Army and was employed as a tool and dye maker with Schneider electric, formerly Square D. Survivors include his wife of ten years, Brenda (Richards) Rice; son, John Kelch of Columbus; brothers and sisters-in-law, Kyle and Kathy Rice of Lincoln, Steve and Becky Rice of Lincoln; sister, Shari Stanley of Lincoln; biological father, Marvin Rice; step-father, Carroll Huddle. Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, August 18, 2011 at Wyuka Funeral Home. Visitation will be held at Wyuka Funeral Home on Thursday, August 18, 2011 from 1 p.m. until 8 p.m. with the family present from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Memorials may be left for the Independance Center.
