- Matthew Adam Trullinger formerly of Elgin Funeral services will be held for Matthew Adam Trullinger, 21, of Rockford, at 10 a.m. Thursday, at Laird Funeral Home, 310 S. State St., Elgin. The Rev. John Bojorkman of Grace Baptist Church in Carpentersville will officiate. Born May 13, 1981, in Hoffman Estates, he died Friday, April 11, 2003, at the scene of an automobile and train accident. Burial will be in South Elgin Cemetery, South Elgin. He is survived by his parents, Douglas and Sharon Trullinger of Belvidere; wife, Jennifer; sons, Hunter and Brandon; stepdaughter, Courtney; brothers, Steven an Kevin, both of Belvidere; grandparents, Floyd and Pat Adams of Evansville, Ind., and Howard and Leah Trullinger of Eagleville, Mo.; and several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Matt was preceded in death by his grandmother, Mildred Trullinger. Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. today, at the funeral home. Matthew Adam Trullinger, 21, of Rockford, formerly of Elgin, died at 11:45 p.m. Friday, April 11, 2003 at the scene of a car and train accident. Matt was born May 13, 1981 in Hoffman Estates, IL and was the son of Douglas and Sharon Trullinger of Belvidere.
Survivors include his parents, wife Jennifer, two sons Hunter and Brandon, also a step daughter Courtney, two brothers, Steven and Kevin, both of Belvidere, his grandparents, Floyd and Pat Adams of Evansville,
