Trullinger joined RCA, which owned NBC, as a human resources executive in 1973, made the transition to GE after the two merged in 1986 and came to NBC in 1987 as vp employee relations. During the merger, Trullinger played a critical role in transitioning employees.
He was responsible for organization development and staffing needs, including a major restructure of the organization in the late 1980s.The creation in 1989 of the NBC Fitness Center, which now serves 900 members, was another key contribution.
