- Richard Allen Johnson, age 74, of Council Bluffs, Iowa, passed away Friday, June 22, 2012, at Jennie Edmundson Hospital.
Richard was born October 15, 1937, in Iowa City, Iowa, to Frank E. and Laura V. (Adams) Johnson, who preceded him in death.
In addition to his parents; Richard was also preceded in death by his infant brother, Guy.
Richard is survived by his wife, Jo Ann (Trullinger) Johnson; children, Kevin Johnson and wife, Sarah, and Kelly Hansen and husband, John; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; sister, Jeanne Shovan and husband, Frank; special friends, John and Fran Zimmer and family.
Visitation will be Tuesday, from 6 to 8 p.m., at Maher-Livingston Funeral Home. Services will be held Wednesday, 10 a.m., at Maher-Livingston Funeral Home. Interment will be in Rose Hill Cemetery in Shenandoah, Iowa. Memorials are suggested to the Jim Harper Ministries, Inc.
