Mrs. Trellinger was a daughter of Mr. Peter Marmon, was born in Casscounty, Michigan, May 15, 1847; moving in 1858 to Franklin township,Polk county, Iowa. In the year 1864 she was united in marriage to Mr.Aaron Trellinger and the next winter she, with her husband, came toCalhoun county, where she resided until her death. They were among theearly settlers of the county and by frugality and perseverence haveacquired one of the finest farms in this section. She was the motherof nine children all of whom survive her. In her home Mrs. Trellingerwas cheerful, tender and affectionate; in the community she was lovedand respected by all who knew her.
The funeral services were conducted by Rev. Stophlet at the Unionchurch, Jackson township on Tuesday and the remains laid to rest inthe Cottonwood cemetery, by the side of her mother who passed away twoyears prior. A noble woman and a loving mother has gone. May peace beto her ashes and joy to her spirit.
