- SOUTH BEND - Helen E. Druelinger , 79, of Robinson Street, South Bend, Ind., died at 4:55 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 7, in St. Joseph's Medical Center.
Mrs. Druelinger was born in South Bend on May 4, 1918, and had been a lifelong resident of South Bend.
As Helen Edwards she married Edward F. Druelinger in South Bend on June 20, 1942. Edward survives. She is also survived by two daughters, Beth A. Bloss of Osceola, Ind., and Marilyn I. Hunt of Greer, S.C.; a son, Edward E. Druelinger of South Bend; seven grandchildren; and by two sisters, Lucille Hass of South Bend and Marjorie Barden of Overland Park, Kan.
Helen was a member of the Peoples Church and VFW 1167 Ladies Auxiliary.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today at the Forest G. Hay Funeral Home, 435 S. Ironwood Drive.
Funeral services for Helen will be at 2 p.m. on Monday in the funeral home. Burial will be in Southlawn Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Diabetes Association of St. Joseph County.
