    • George "Joe" Wriston was born on February 28, 1948, and passed away in Evansville, Indiana on Saturday August 31st, 2024 at the age of 76 from congestive heart failure after a 2 year battle with cancer.
      Joe was a very talented man and extremely hard worker. He worked in the concrete business for 50 years including owning his own business. Joe even built his own beautiful home on his sprawling acreage where he would enjoy his time out by the lake. Over the last 7 years he was joyfully the pastor at Boonville Wesleyan Church and has been involved with the church since 1983. He loved being called "Pastor Joe".
      As a young man, Joe loved to surf the waves where he lived in California. As he got older, he loved to paint, run rabbits with his dogs, hunt, fish, play Ticket to Ride with family, and of course preach the word of God.
      Joe's last couple of years were spent with his amazing partner Dana Lewis.
      Joe is survived by his three children: Jabin, Jamie, and Gene "Joey", grandchildren: Bo, Chevy, Wyatt, William, Ashley, Eli, and Whitney, great-grandchildren, brother: Rocky and spouse Cathy, sisters: Mary and spouse William, Debbie and spouse Randy, Racine, Bertha, many nieces and nephews and of course his companion and best friend: Dana Lewis.
      Preceding Joe in death were his parents: Dorothy Druelinger and Owen Edward Wriston, his brother Robert "Bobby" Druelinger, and his sister and brother-in-law Patricia and Sam Kemp.
