Before he retired, Mr. Forrest was a delivery truck driver for Verizon. Mr. Forrest was a member of and director of family research for the Spring-Ford Historical Society. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. In addition to his wife, Mr. Forrest is survived by his children, Joseph Forrest, III, at home, Jason Forrest, Bridgeport, and Christian Forrest, at home; and his sister, Susan Cole, Ridgefield, CT. He was preceded in death by his son, Mark Forrest. A private graveside service will be held in Zion Lutheran Cemetery, E. Vincent Twp. Memorial contributions may be made to the Spring-Ford Historical Society, 526 Main St., Royersford, PA 19468. Arrangements are by Holcombe Funeral Home, Inc., Trappe.
