Irma Lenora BROWN, 82, Fairfield Glade, Tenn, (formerly of Rochester) died at 3:25 p.m. Friday at the Cumberland County Medical Center Hospital, Crossville, Tenn.
Born in St. James, Mo. to Robert and Elizabeth BARRETT REED, she married Richard Carl BROWN on Dec. 28, 1945 in Chicago, Ill.; he survives. She had been a resident of Fairfield Glade for the past 15 years, having come from Indianapolis, Before that she had lived in Rochester. A homemaker, she was a member of the Fairfield Glade United Methodist Church and she had been a waitress in the former Berghoff Cafe, Rochester.
Also surviving are two daughters Ms. Carol Lynn BROWN, Fairfield Glade, Tenn., Mrs. Kathleen GAMBLIN, Great Falls, Mont.; two sons George and wife Joan DRUELINGER, Tucson, Ariz., John and wife Anna DRUELINGER, Maryland Heights, Mo.; eight grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren; two sisters, Florence SALADIN, St. Louis, Mo., and Ruby GODAR, California. She was preceded in death by a daughter Cheryl Lee BROWN on Jan.16, 1965.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Foster & Good Funeral Home, Rochester, with the Rev. C. David HOGSETT officiating. Burial will be in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Rochester. Friends may call at the funeral home from 6-8 p.m. today and one hour prior to the service.
Memorial services for Irma Lenora Brown, 82, of Fairfield Glade, who passed away Nov. 8, 1996, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 23 at Fairfield Glade United Methodist Church. Rev. Wayne Benson will officiate. Interment was Nov. 12 at the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Rochester, Ind. Mrs. Brown was born July 25, 1914 in St. James, Mo., to the late Robert and Elizabeth (Barrett) Reed. She resided in Indianapolis, Ind., prior to moving to Fairfield Glade 15 years ago. She was a homemaker and a waitress in the former Bergoff Cafe, Rochester, Ind. She was a member of the Fairfield Glade United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Cheryl Lee Brown on Jan. 16, 1965.
Survivors include her husband, Richard C. Brown of Fairfield Glade; daughters, Miss Carol Lynn Brown of Fairfield Glade; Mrs. Kathleen Gamblin of Great Falls, Mont., sons and daughters-in-law, George and Joan Druelinger of Tucson, Ariz., and John and Anna Druelinger of Maryland Heights, Mo.; eight grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; sisters, Florence Saladin of St. Louis, Mo., and Ruby Godar of California. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Hospice of Cumberland County, 140 North Main St., Crossville, TN 38555. Foster and Good Funeral Home Inc. of Rochester, Ind., was in charge of the arrangements.
