    • G. Carlos Trollinger, 80 formerly of South Street, Pottstown, died in the South Eastern Veterans Center, Spring City. He was the husband of the late Marie "Mitzi" (O?Neal) Trollinger. Born in Pottstown, PA., he was the son of the late George C. and Dorothy (Ecker) Trollinger. He was a Graduate of Pottstown High School, and a US Army Veteran of World War II. Mr. Trollinger was employed in the shipping dept. of Doehler Jarvis Co. for over 25 years until he retired. He is pre deceased by a brother, Gary L. Trollinger. Surviving are four daughters, Georgia Erb, Douglassville, PA., Marcia Smith, Philadelphia, PA., Holly Mangam, North Coventry Twp., PA., Carla Edlund, Pottstown, PA.; also surviving is one sister, Yvonne Strom, Pottstown, PA., Six Grandchildren; Three Great Grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 am in the Houck & Gofus Funeral Home, Inc., 955 N Charlotte St. Rev. Karen Creasy, Officiating. Relatives & Friends will be received from 10-11 am in the funeral home. Interment will be in Highland Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in his memory to the South Eastern Veterans Center Activity Fund, One Veterans Drive, Spring City, PA. 19475.     15 PERSONS HURT seriously, when a car in which they were riding overturned along route 402 in Pike County Saturday night as the driver attempted to extinguish a discarded cigarette which had blown back through the window. Seriously hurt was Mrs. Carolus Trollinger, 23, Pottstown, whose head and neck were jarred through an open rear window and caught by the flattened car top J She suffered ' severe cuts and puncture wounds of the head and neck and was admitted to Wayne Memorial Hospital for observation. t Others hurt were Carolus Trollinger, husband 'of Mrs. Trollinger, body bruises and shock, and Nancy Wiley, 24, Philadelphia, the driver, cuts and bruises. Both received hospital treatment. Troopers Glenn James and Ralph Gabriel of the Milford State Police Substation said Miss Wiley lost control of . the vehicle after a lighted cigarette she had thrown out the front window blew back into the car. Mrs. Trollinger was extricated from, the wreckage by John Eckweiler. a nearby resident, who pried the smashed top from around her neck with a crow bar. Before removal to the " hospital, the injured were given first aid by Mrs. Eckweiler, a registered nurse.
