- Sammy Lafayette Trollinger born April 8, 1925, went to be with the Lord January 10, 2006, at the age of 80. He served in the US Army during WWII and was in the Battle of the Bulge and received a Purple Heart. He married his beloved Mary Lee Rugen on September 11, 1945, at Ft. Sam Houston chapel. He was a member of the Disabled American Veterans, Lions Club and Veteran of Foreign Wars. He retired from Civil Service. He is survived by his wife, Mary Lee; daughter, Donna Jo Bauman and husband, Ricky, of Llano; son, Robert L. Trollinger and wife, Ida Mary; brothers, Calvin Henry Trollinger, Jr. of Conway, AR, Joe Trollinger, Springdale, AR; grandchildren, John M. Trollinger and wife, Monica, Ryan Douglas Bauman and wife, Reacheal, Justin Samuel Bauman and wife, JoAnna, Olivia Nicole Bauman; great-grandchildren, Kourtnie Dawn Bauman, Cheyenne Jo Bauman, Wyatt Douglas Bauman, Chloe Elise Trollinger, and Emily Rose Trollinger. SERVICES Visitation will be Wednesday, January 11, 2006, 6:30 - 9:00 PM at Mission Park Funeral Chapels South. Funeral services will be Thursday, January 12, 2006, at 1:00 PM at the funeral home.
