He proudly served his country with the United States Army. Jack was retired from Cone Mills, White Oak Plant. He was a member of Bethany Baptist Church. Mr. Proctor is survived by his wife, Louise Ratliff Proctor; daughter, Karen Louise Mull of Winston-Salem; son, Jack Proctor, Jr. of Whitsett; grandchildren, Michael Allen Scott, Melissa Shane Robertson, Bradley Ray Scott, and Leah Shea Proctor; along with nine great grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 1-2 pm Thursday at the funeral home prior to the service.
