  	DELOS M. ELDER DIES TODAY AFTER HAVING OPERATION Prominent Alamance County Citizen Passes Following Short Critical Illness Delos M. Elder, 68, who lived near Alamance, died at the Wesley Long Hospital, Greensboro, at 9:30 a. m. today following an operation on Tuesday. Mr. Elder, who was one of Alamance county's leading farmers, was a native of this country, the son of James Madison and Mrs. Fannie Trollinger Elder. Funeral services will be conducted from the home, Burlington Route 1, at 2:00 o'clock Saturday and interment will be made in Pine Hill cemetery. Survivors are: his wife, Mrs. Lora Perry-Elder; two daughters. Mrs. Ted Welch, Burlington, and Miss Fannie Glenn Elder, the home; four sons, W. Clifton, Delos M., Jr., Buck and Williams Elder; three grandchildren, all of Burlington.
