    • "MRS. MAUDE STOUP DIES AT VEEDERSBURG - VEEDERSBURG-Funeral services for Mrs. Maude Stoup, who died at her home here Saturday night Jan. 2, 1937 at 7 o'clock were held at 11 o'clock Monday morning at the family residence with Rev. Charles Howard officiating. Burial was made in the Bonebrake cemetery.

      Mrs. Stoup had been ill for the past six months and her death was attributed to a complication of diseases. She was born in this vicinity, Aug. 23, 1872, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Simon Yetter. She was married to Ross Stoup.

      Surviving are the husband; two sisters, Mrs. Emma Dawson, Paris, Texas, and Mrs. Ida Baston, Carthage, Ill.; one brother, Bert Yetter, South Bend, and one grandchild." - The Covington Republican, Friday, January 8, 1937
