Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, January 16, 2004, in Carlisle & Son Funeral Chapel, Mooresville. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. January 15 at the funeral chapel. Burial in Mooresville Cemetery. Survivors include his wife, Laura Edna Wolven Howard; son, Clell Dudley Howard; daughter, Linda Ruth Harris; step-son, Les "Bud" Allen Harris; step-daughter, Lynette Mae Angleton; brothers, Robert and Bernard G. Howard; sisters, Jewel King, Barbara Alice Gary and Maxine Land; 13 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
