- Eloise Trollinger of Terrell passed away on Dec. 11, 2006 in Terrell, Texas. She was born on March 30, 1914 in Nevada, Texas. She was the daughter of W. A. “Lonnie? and Edith Cook Smith. She attended school in Nevada and graduated in 1932. Eloise was married to Travis Trollinger on Feb. 22, 1934, in McKinney, Texas and has made her home in Terrell for most of those years. Eloise was a housewife and worked part-time at the First United Methodist Church office for over 30 years. She was preceded in death by her husband Travis Trollinger in 1995; brother, Harold Smith and sister, Anita Scott.
Eloise is survived by her daughters, Patricia Cronin and husband, Mike of Terrell and Judy Hawley and husband, Joe of Dallas; grandchildren, Chris Cronin and wife, Shelly of McKinney, Shannon West and husband, Chico of Dallas, Julie Barrow and husband, Kyle of Heath and Jay Hawley and wife, Carrie of Houston; great-grandchildren, Blake Cronin, Riley Cronin, Haley Barrow, Taylor Barrow, Travis West and Beck West; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and host of friends.
Services will be at 11 a.m., Wednesday, Dec. 13, 2006 at Anderson-Clayton Bros. Chapel with Rev. Joe Ed Goolsby officiating. Private Burial will be held at Oakland Memorial Park. Family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 12, 2006 at Anderson-Clayton Bros. Funeral Home.
