  Placed here as speculation on my part. No hard evidence found to date to support his being a child of Elizabeth Trollinger GLD Dec 2012 Lemuel Samuel Trollinger (b 1837 SC) and Hosea Trollinger (b 1838 SC) are most likely brothers. Company F 1st SC Vol Infantry, Hosea enlisted at Spartansburg 22 feb 1861, reenlisted at Fort Moultrie 5 Feb 1862, promoted to Corporal between 30 Apr and 30 June 1862, reduced from Sergeant 1 Apr 1864, on muster roll 31 Oct 1864.
