- Her son appears to be Marvin J. (or C.) Wimbs (b abt 1865 Alabama) who she is living with in the 1910 Census. Because his surname is Wimbs it would appear that was Cynthia's married surname. As of 20 Aug 2023 her maiden name is unknown. The proper spelling appears to be Wimbs and not Weems. It appears her marriage to Samuel Lemuel Trollinger did not work out probably ending in divorce. Because it was a brief marriage and perhaps an unpleasant one, that might explain why Cynthia reverted back to the Wimbs surname and identified herself as "Widowed" in the 1910 Census which if she was referring to Lemuel would be untrue since he did not die until five years later in 1915.
