Notes - In conversation with Mr. Glunt in Manhattan 1980 he related that his grandfather had died in Denver after driving horses there to sell to the army. He had looked in the Ellis cemetery for a head stone but there was none that he located. I found Mr. Glunt from an old postcard sent by my great aunt Claire which was postmarked Maple Hill Kansas. He had a ranch there. I asked in the post office and they said he had moved to Manhattan. He being very dark skinned (from the weather) and his wife very blonde. They had no children. Gordon L. Dear Mr. Drollinger,
The Della Drollinger Glunt Memorial Scholarship was established in 1996 through the Department of Human Ecology by the William P. Glunt Testamentary Trust. I had hoped to find out who the executor of the trust was in 1996 by finding a newspaper article about the scholarship's establishment, but I have been unable to turn any such articles up. I hope this helps and let me know if you have any more questions.
Sincerely,
Jordan Herman
