- Mary Jeanette Wallach (nee Barnes), 83, of Pacific, Missouri passed away at 10:45 a.m. on Sunday, July 7, 2019 at Pacific Care Center in Pacific, Missouri. She was born July 7, 1936 in Pacific, Missouri to the late William Charles and Ivah Delalah Barnes (nee Short). She married Raymond E. Wallach on May 8, 1987 in Eureka, Missouri who preceded her in death. Mary retired from the St. Louis Special School District after many years of dedicated service. She enjoyed traveling across the nation with her husband and spending her leisure time crocheting, quilting and making blankets for her grandchildren. She will be remembered for the love and special times shared with her family and friends. She especially enjoyed taking her grandchildren to Six Flags over Mid-America during their summer vacations.
Mary, "Jeanette" as she was known by her family, is survived by her son, Mark (Phyllis) Trolinger of Park Hills, Missouri; her daughter, Beth (Larry) Mitchell of Dittmer, Missouri and one step-son, Wallace "Wally" Wallach of Kirkwood, Missouri; six grandchildren, Travis, Sara, Emmily, Kevin, Michael and Lisa; five great-grandchildren, Taylor, Tori, Kaydence, Henry and Cecelia; two brothers, William "Billy" Barnes of Denton, Texas; James Newton (Evelyn) Barnes of St. Louis, Missouri; three sisters, Charlotte Ann Barnes (Walter) Lewis of Ballwin, Missouri; Vicky Lynn Barnes of Pacific, Missouri and Terry Lee Barnes (Don) Warnecke of Ballwin, Missouri; many nieces and nephews; other extended family and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sons, Stephen James Trolinger and Thomas Gregory Hogan; one granddaughter, Stacy Renee Hogan; half brother, William Charles "Bud" Barnes Jr.; three half sisters, Eileen Louis Barnes Bukowsky, Mildred "Jean" Barnes Fleming-Taylor and Betty Joyce Barnes Cornelli.
Services: A Celebration of Life Service will be held at the SCHRADER Funeral Home - Eureka, 108 N. Central Avenue, Thursday, July 11, 2019 at 12:30 p.m. Interment will be at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery at 2:15 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to The Alzheimer's Assn. or The American Diabetes Assn.
