- Sarah Druliner, age 89, of Aurora, passed away Sunday, December 29, 2013 at Hamilton Manor.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, January 25th at the Aurora United Methodist Church. Rev. Michael Patzloff will officiate. Private family Inurnment will be held at a later date. The family requests no flowers. Memorials may be made to the Aurora United Methodist Church or Aurora Adopt-A-Pet. OBITUARY: SARAH DRULINER
Sarah Ellen Druliner, the daughter of William and Eada (Mack) Pollock, was born in Beatrice, Nebraska on April 29, 1924 and passed away in Aurora, Nebraska on December 29, 2013, at the age of 89.
Sarah grew up in Beatrice, Nebraska where she graduated high school and later attended Nebraska Wesleyan University in Lincoln. She married Robert Goble on January 16, 1943 and had three children: Kathy, Patty and Debe.
On December 30, 1961 Sarah married Lloyd Sack and moved to Aurora. Lloyd's children are Bill Sack, Aurora (deceased) and Steve Sack, Central City.
She married Ross Druliner of Benkelman, Nebraska on June 4, 1983 where they resided until moving back to Aurora. Ross's children are Ed (Nadine) Druliner, Toledo, Ohio, Doug (Monnie) Druliner, Wheatridge, Colorado and Anita (Larry) Kitt of Parks, Nebraska.
Sarah loved Lloyd and Ross's children and grandchildren and welcomed them all into her life.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her spouses, Robert Goble, Lloyd Sack, Ross Druliner and her son-in-law, Jim Pollard.
Sarah loved music, dancing, Nebraska football, camping, her motor home and spending time outdoors and at the cabin. She had a very special place in her heart for animals.
She will be missed by her children and remembered for the sacrifices she made and her strength of character when faced with life's adversities. Known as "Gram" by her grandchildren, she will be remembered for her sense of humor and instilling in them the importance of family. She will be missed by her friends who enjoyed her quick Irish wit and sense of humor.
Those left to cherish her memory are her three daughters, Kathy Pollard, Patty (Mike) Newman and Debe (Mike) Merrick; 5 grandchildren, Jennifer (Mark) Steliga, Nathan (Carli) Israelson, Alex (Lindsey) Israelson, Rachel Newman and fiancé Steve Catlett, Chase Newman and Megan Dunlap and 4 great-grandchildren, Caitlin & Casey Steliga, Harlow Israelson and Jax Israelson.
