Most of the direct descendants on this line were done by Hannalore Heege, her 2 daughters, plus her bother's 3 children. She worked off a copy she made of the Familien Register that she made for me when I visited in 1982 to 1985.
Gordon L Drollinger - The church books begin in 1616 and the cornerstone reads 1404 Supposedly built on the ruins of a Roman tower but is about 3 meters from the ground on the bell tower. In 1560 the first mention of a Lutheran pastor was made. When I first visited in 1982 the Late Heinrich Hower had spent some money to remove portions of the plaster and reveal the Catholic murals underneath. In the time frame 919 - 934 the town was mentioned as Alsmindinga in the Kloster records.
