  	Norene Vista Hoover Born in Scio, Oregon on Oct. 10, 1918 Departed on Jul. 15, 2013 and resided in Albany, OR. Memorial Service: Saturday, Aug. 3, 2013 1:00 pm Norene Hoover, 94 of Albany, passed away Monday at Quail Run Assisted Living. Norene was born and raised in Scio, where she graduated from high school in 1936. She married Howard Trollinger and they lived and worked on the Trollinger Ranch. Norene later worked as a bookkeeper for Agripack Cannery in Salem where she eventually retired and then moved to Albany. Norene was an avid reader; enjoyed bird watching and collecting bird figurines; as well as camping and the outdoors. She was also a member of the Scio Baptist Church. Norene is survived by her children, Sharon Lee Huntington of Albany, Harold James Trollinger of Newberg, and Calvin Sims Trollinger of Portland; 10 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Elmo and Vista Sims; husband, Howard Trollinger; 2nd husband, Earl Hoover; daughter, Denise Trollinger; brothers, Marley and Verl Sims; and sisters, Genevieve Johnson and Wanda June Niemi. A memorial service will be at 1:00pm, Saturday, August 3 at the Mennonite Village Lakeside Center. Private interment will be at the Miller Cemetery at Shelburn.
