  	Dorothy Lee Trollinger Fones On Tuesday, October 11, 2016, died at her residence in Vienna, VA, after a battle with Lewy Body Dementia. Born on October, 16, 1938, in D.C., to Douglas and Grace Trollinger, she moved to Northern VA while in her teens and graduated from Annandale High School. She worked for USDA's Extension and Research Services where she was selected to model for "Research on Parade," traveling across the country to showcase newly created textiles made into the latest fashions. She also served as a political appointee to USDA's First Assistant Secretary for Science and Education. A member of St. Alban's Episcopal Church in Annandale since its founding, she served on the Vestry, was Senior Warden twice, and sang with the church choir for over 50 years. She also sang with the Fairfax Choral Society and the Alban Chorale. Dorothy is survived by her husband, Bob, of 47 years, her mother, 3 siblings, 4 devoted children and 7 grandchildren. A celebration of her life will be held at St. Alban's Church, 6800 Columbia Pike, Annandale, VA, on November 19th at 11:00am. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Dorothy's name to Capital Caring Hospice and St. Alban's Episcopal Church. Her immediate family has planned a private burial.
