Harold Catfish Eddins, 71, of Borger, passed away, Friday, March 5, 2010.
Harold Lynn Eddins was born Aug. 23, 1938, in Houston, to Earnest and Louise (Thomas) Eddins. He married Mary Jo Trollinger in 1973. He was a fireman in the early 60s and 70s before retiring from the City of Borger as a Building Inspector. Harold was a member of the United States Navy serving in the Korean War.
He is preceded in death by his wife Mary Jo Trollinger Eddins on Nov. 11, 2004.
Survivors include three daughters, Jackie Temple of Borger, Marla Jo Rambin of Houston, and Renea Bright of Dewey, Okla.; son Joe Trollinger of Skellytown, brother Joe Eddins of Pineville, N.C., sister Joyce Turner of Houston, eight grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, March 8, 2010, at the Elks Lodge BPOE in Borger with Ralph Pumphrey officiating.
Mr Eddins will lie in state at Brown Chapel of the Fountains from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday, March 6, 2010, and 12-6 p.m. Sunday, March 7, 2010.
Cremation was entrusted to Brown Funeral Directors.
