- Florrie Trollinger
Mrs. Florrie Wilson Sherrill Trollinger, 100, of Scotia Village andformerly of West Blvd., died Monday, March 15, 2004, at ScotiaVillage.
Born May 31, 1903 in Lenoir, a daughter of the late Dr. William H. andMaggie Shell Wilson.
She was a graduate of the University of N.C. at Greensboro and workedas a cost accountant in the furniture industry. She was also a memberof the First United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by herhusband.
She is survived by her son Robert Sherrill of Palestine, Texas, herstep-son, Bill Trollinger of Lexington, N.C. and her step-daughterMary Boyles of Mt. Airy. Also surviving are six grandchildren and onegreat grandchild.
Memorial services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday at theMorris-Morgan Room at Scotia Village. The Rev. Dr. Stan Smith and Rev.Nancy Willard will officiate. Visitation will be held from 10 to 10:30a.m. Friday prior to the service.
