Notes - From the book Das Kirchspiel Kirchberg copies of the pages in possession of Gordon L. Drollinger: auswanderer 1851 Peter Ullmann mit 2 personen nach Nordamerika. This Peter was a witness (Godfather?) at the baptism of Peter Ullmann born 17 Feb 1843. He is found in the 8th ward of Allegheny City in the census of 1870, age 55, working in a tannery, born Hesse Darmstadt. His wife then is Regina, age 55 born Wirtemberg (sic). That his uncle was living in Allegheny City was probably the reason young Peter emigrated to there.
