Yanceyville, NC - It is with profound sorrow we announce the death of Mrs. Joyce Tanner McDaniel 52, of 605 Henry T. Graves Rd. Yanceyville, NC, who died suddenly Saturday, October 27, 2007 in the Danville Regional Medical Center Emergency Room, Danville, VA. She was a native of Caswell Co., NC the daughter of the late William H. Tanner and Elizabeth Holloway, born December 31, 1957. She was a member of Sassafras Grove Baptist Church and a former employee of Motel 6 in Burlington, NC.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, Jennie Bett McDaniel; two brothers, Henry T. Tanner and James Robert Tanner; three sisters, Josephine Simpson, Ethel Mae Tanner Pearson and Naomi Tanner. Her survivors are husband, William Floyd McDaniel of the home; two daughters, Ms. Amanda Tanner of Burlington, NC and Mrs. Elisa Trollinger (Calvin) of Yanceyville, NC; two sons, William Floyd McDaniel, Jr. (Angela) of Burlington, NC and Ronnie Wilson (Crystal) of Milton, NC; one sister, Mrs. Dorothy Galloway (Ellis) of Pelham, NC; 15 grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services for Mrs. Joyce Ann Tanner McDaniel will be Friday, November 2, 2007 at 2:00 pm at Sassafras Grove Baptist Church. Pastor Carl Bigelow will deliver the eulogy and interment will follow in the church cemetery. A viewing will be Thursday evening from 2:00 until 8:00 pm at Fulton Funeral Home Chapel. The family may be contacted at her residence, 605 Henry T. Graves Rd., Yanceyville, NC. All arrangements for Mrs. Joyce Tanner McDaniel are entrusted to Fulton Funeral Home, 219 Dillard School Dr. Yanceyville, NC.

YANCEYVILLE - Mrs. Joyce Tanner McDaniel, 52, of 605 Henry T. Graves Road, died Saturday, Oct. 27, 2007.
Survivors include her husband, William Floyd McDaniel of the home; daughters, Ms. Amanda Tanner of Burlington and Mrs. Elisa Trollinger of Yancyville; sons, William Floyd McDaniel Jr. of Burlington and Ronnie Wilson of Milton; and 15 grandchildren.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 2, 2007, at Sassafras Grove Baptist Church. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Viewing will be at Fulton Funeral Home from 2 to 8 p.m. Thursday.
