Notes - It appears Dorothy's mother, Myrtle separated from Dorothy's father, Harold Hudson Asher and later married Edward Walter Morris (born 1914 - died 1995) and together they had several children including Bruce who would be Dorothy's half brother.
Bruce E. "Ed" Morris, 65, of Yakima died Wednesday at Yakima Valley Memorial Hospital.
Mr. Morris was born in Snoqualmie Falls, Wash., and served in the Army. He worked in construction for 30 years, retiring in 1995.
Survivors include two sons, Kevin Parkes of Utah and Glenn Morris of Stevenson, Wash.; two daughters, Jessie Dutton of Elmendorff AFB, Alaska, and Jacque Woodworth of Vancouver, Wash.; three brothers, Gene Morris of Kennewick, Jackie Morris of Yakima and Jimmy Morris of Okinawa, Japan; five sisters, Dorothy Trollinger of Sun City, Ariz., Norma Sisson of Springfield, Ill., Bobby Zyph of Tacoma, Nancy Voorheif of George, Wash., and Virginia Heether of Yakima.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Colonial Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Zillah City Cemetery.
Colonial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
