- Ronald Lingo Sr.
Ronald Joe Lingo Sr. of Springfield died Wednesday, April 20, inCommunity Hospital. He was 70.
He was born in Yellow Springs on Jan. 16, 1936, the son of Vera PearlLingo and Norman Olaf Reindahl.
Ron worked as a molder with Vernay Laboratories for 31 years. Heserved in the U.S. Army. He was also an avid gardener and a member ofPossum Road Church of God.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, E. Rose (White) Lingo;children and their spouses, Tony and Sheri Lingo, Joe Lingo andBeverly and David Trollinger; grandchildren, Andrea and SarahTrollinger and Breanne and Dalton Lingo, all of Springfield.
Graveside services were held Monday, April 24, in Glen ForestCemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the American HeartAssociation Ohio Valley Affiliate, P.O. Box 163549, Columbus43216-3549.
