Notes |
- Examine actual 1880 Census document. It appears to be spelled, "Ivie". It also appears that she died as an infant. Because her brother, Cornelius Trollinger named his daughter, Evie (Evia Ollie May "Evie" Trollinger), it appears he named his daughter in honor of his sister and the 1880 census taker simply spelled her name Ivie instead of Evie. Therefore, because of that rationale, she is identified as Evia with the nickname of "Evie" in this database. Anyone with substantial evidence to the contrary is encouraged to contact us at Drollingergenealogy.com at CONTACT US.
