  	Elizabeth's true birth date is uncertain due to discrepancies found from one record to another. It seems more likely that her birth year is probably somewhere close to 1858. Her 1876 marriage record with Washington Wagoner states her age as eighteen (18) - as provided by Elizabeth, herself - which yields a date of about 1858. Her death certificate states her birth date as 3 May 1873 and is a date that was probably supplied by Mrs. Della Reisnover [Resnover] who was the informant and a birth year that is most likely wrong. Because it is not known exactly what Mrs. Resnover's [Della Irene Jackson-Resnover] relationship with Elizabeth was, the information she provided should be viewed with skeptcism. Speculation would be that Mrs. Resnover was renting a room to Elizabeth perhaps as in a private home nursing home situation. The 1870 Census states her age as 11 and the 1880 Census states her age as 19 which roughly agree with the 1858 date she herself supplied in her marriage record. Therefore, her birth year is shown in this record to be about 1858 until substantial and legitimate proof of her actual full (day/month/year) and accurate birth date becomes known. Additionally, her birth place is most likely Alamance County, North Carolina where her other siblings were born and not Winston, Salem, North Carolina as it is listed on her death certificate.
