WATSONTOWN — Elizabeth T. Pisha, 92, of 80 Springlake Crest,Watsontown, died Tuesday, April 5, 2011, at Kramm’s Nursing Home inWatsontown, where she had lived since 2005.
Born Aug. 8, 1918, in Lansford, Carbon County, she was a daughter ofthe late Andrew and Mary (Balog) Zinchak. Her husband of 49 years,Barney V. Pisha, preceded her in death on Nov. 6, 1991.
Following graduation from Lansford High School in 1936, she earned adegree from Allentown Business College and worked as a hospitalmedical records clerk. She was a former member of St. Joseph’sCatholic Church in Danville.
Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Arthur Drollingerof Watsontown; two grandchildren, Gregory Drollinger and ThereseCamacho; and three great-granddaughters.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death bytwo sisters, Mary Dedinsky and Anna Burke.
Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Friday at the Church of theResurrection, 75 Musser Lane, Muncy, where a Mass of Christian Burialwill be held at 11, officiated by the Rev. Glenn McCreary. Burial willfollow in Resurrection Cemetery.
Arrangements are under the care of the Cronrath-Grenoble Funeral Home.
