- Obit. La Grande Observer, La Grande, Oregon, Monday 21 Aug 1933, page 4. "Mrs. Flora Last Dies Saturday; Funeral Tuesday. Mrs. Flora Augusta Last, a resident of La Grande for the last 19 years, died at her home at 1802 Washington avenue Saturday night after five weeks illness of carcinoma. Funeral services will be held at the Snodgrass and Zimmerman mortuary Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock with Rev. J. George Walz, of the Presbyterian church, officiating. Burial will take place in Walla Walla Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock with the Neighbors of Woodcraft of Walla Walla in charge of services at the grave. Mrs. Last was born in Wisconsin April 4, 1864 and was 69 years, four months, and 15 days of age. She leaves her widowed husband, Fred M. Last and the following children, Rea, of Los Angeles, Mrs. Dora Rush, of La Grande; Mrs. Carrie Trollinger, of La Grande; Mrs. Hazel Parker, of Portland; Harry, of La Grande, besides other relatives."
