      DOVER - Anne Elisabeth (Skelly) Abbott, a native of Dover, died recently at Liberty Commons Nursing Home in Chatham, Mass. Mrs. Abbott, formerly of Bedford, Mass. graduated from Dover schools and the Elliot Hospital School of Nursing in Manchester. At retirement, she was a pediatric nurse at Symmes Arlington Hospital in Arlington, Mass.

      Mrs. Abbott was predeceased by her husband, John Tucker Abbott, and her son, John Cope Abbott, by her parents Alexander and Mary Skelly, and by siblings Edgar, Thomas, Mary E., Clyde, and Raymond.

      Surviving her are her daughter, Melisande Potter; grandchildren, Chloe Schriener and her husband, George; and Giselle Potter-Kinsella and her husband, Kieran Kinsella; great-grandchildren, Adelita and Felix Schriener, and Pia and Isabel Kinsella. Also surviving are siblings Floyd C. Skelly and his wife, Nancy; the Rev. Herbert C.
      Skelly and his wife Margaret; and many nephews, nieces, grand nephews, grand nieces, and cousins.

      Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the
      Wiggin-Purdy-McCooey-Dion Funeral Home. A graveside service at Pine
      Hill Cemetery will be conducted for family and friends by the Rev.
      Susan Garrity, rector of St. Thomas' Episcopal Church, on Thursday,
      August 8 at 11 a.m. There are no calling hours.
