I did know where to connect him so came to the leap of as a son of Andreas Andrew Drollinger Trollinger of Philadelphia and his wife Susanna Lentz. I found most of their children in the Frederick S.Welser and Debra D. Smith, compiler, St Michael's Evangelical LuthernChurch (Rockport, Maine: Picton Press, August 1998). How ever there was a gap where Michael fits. Based on that and the Armstrong County History I place him there. I can't find any thing to further prove or disprove this. What are your thoughts? Michael Trollinger, his grandfather, was born in Germany in 1801, and died in Rural Valley, Pa., in 1866, aged sixty-five years, nine months, seven days. His wife, born in 1812, died Oct. 8, 1865, aged fifty-three years, six months, seven days, and they are interred in the cemetery at Rural Valley. Michael Trollinger came to America in young manhood, locating first in Philadelphia, and in 1845 brought his wife and family to Armstrong county, settling in what afterward became Cowanshannock township. He and his wife had the following children: Susan, who married Reisinger Yount; Laanna, who married John Boyer; Henry; Isaac; and Elizabeth, who married Michael Reanch. email from Grant Drollinger 24 Aug 2012 After I researched the information you sent to me, I was able to located additional sources that verified everyone except Michael Trollinger. Since all other information in this article is found to be the same from other sources, I would agree that Michael Trollinger is the father to Henry Trollinger, and grandfather to Robert M Trollinger. One could research immigration records, and other Pa records that would shed light on Michael. Maybe he spelled his last name with a D in Germany. NewFamilySearch, LDS Church, shows that John A Trollinger, son of Henry and Martha Trollinger, was married to Margaret Wilda Yount. She was born 19 Feb 1886, Cowanshanneck, Armstrong, Pennsylvania. Her death date is 29 March 1963, Rural Valley, Armstrong, Pennsylvania. They list the following children: Lillian Elizabeth born 19 Sept 1914 in Kittanning, Armstrong, Pa. Robert Murry born 11 Jan 1916 in Elderton, Armstrong, Pa, and William James born 28 June 1918 in Elderton, Armstrong, Pa.
