- Faye Eveline Trolinger, 73, third child of Oliver Morton Shepherd and Lucy Ann Holden Shepherd, was born July 7, 1933, at Licking. She died Dec. 7, 2006, at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis following heart surgery.
She married Mack Walker Dec. 5, 1953. After his death, she married James Trollinger June 21, 1969.
A a young lady, she helped her mother around the house and caring for her younger siblings. She attended Shipp and Licking schools.
Mrs. Trolling worked at Rawlings Manufacturing for several years and for Prince Gardner in St. Louis.
She enjoyed the outdoors, reading, watching birds and working in her garden and flowers, caring for her chickens and dog, piecing quilt tops by hand and quilting.
She was a member of American Legion Post #559 for several years.
In addition to her husbands, she was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, George, Henry and Edward Shepherd; and one sister, Goldie Moore.
Surviving are three sisters, Ruby Walker, Sylvia Blankenship and May Blankenship of Licking; and one brother, Bob Shepherd of Licking.
Services were Dec. 10 at the Fox Funeral Home Chapel with Mike Gorman officiating. Burial was in the Patterson Cemetery.
