Mary L. Trolinger, 76, of Crowder, died Tuesday, Nov. 10, 2009, at St. Francis Medical Center in Tulsa. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Crowder Church of Christ with Dan Banks officiating. Burial will be at Crowder Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Brumley-Mills Funeral Home of McAlester. Born Sept. 30, 1933, in Crowder, she was the daughter of Samuel Grimes and Evelyn (Moore) Leak. She married Garland Trolinger on Nov. 30, 1951, in McAlester. She worked as coordinator with OREC for 25 years. She also worked as a cook at Crowder school. She was on the Kibois board for several years and was a member of the Crowder Church of Christ. Survivors include her husband, Garland Trolinger, of the home; foster son, Gene Kelley, of California; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Joe Kenneth "Bud" and Laveda Leak, of Crowder, and Larry and Pearl Leak, of Crowder; two sisters-in-law, Opal Endsley, of Blocker, and Nadine Shannon, of Blocker, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, and one nephew, John D. Leak. Pallbearers will be Kenny Leak, Michael Leak, J.R. Leak, Rick Shannon, Jarod Michael and Keith Yount. Honorary pallbearers will be Joyce Wilcox, Tommie (Oneth) Gibson, Bob Yount and Steve Curtis. Memorials may be made to Crowder Senior Citizens Center.
