- Larry Wayne Mason, 61, of Gentry died April 23, 2009, at Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale. He was born June 28, 1947, in Bald Knob to Jack and Dorthy Aunita Henderson Mason.
He had lived in the Gentry area for the past 13 years and was a press operator for Kennametal and was a member of Highfill First Baptist Church, where he served as the Sunday school director. He married Vivian June Trolinger on May 23, 1970.
He was preceded in death by a son, Shawn Allen Mason.
Survivors include his wife, Vivian of the home; a son, Anthony Wayne Mason and wife Elizabeth of Bamberg, Germany; a daughter, Cynthia Lynn Reed and husband Wade of Springdale; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; four brothers, Jerry Dale Mason and James Roger Mason of Elm Springs, Gary Gene Mason of Spring Valley and Danny Mason of Sun Prairie, Wis.
Services will be at 1 p.m., Monday at First Baptist Church in Highfill, with Roger Robins officiating.
Burial will follow at Colbaugh Cemetery, near Hindsville.
