Eula May Trolinger, daughter of the late Maudie Smith Foster and Noah E. Foster was born on June 16, 1928 near the community of Oates, Missouri. She departed this life at her home, that she and her husband built less than half a mile from where she was born, on November 17, 2012 at the age of 84.
On October 29, 1946 she was united in marriage to Arnold O. Trolinger and to this loving union three children were born. Eula started work at age 15 with Gerber Plastic Co. and Sunshine Biscuit Co. during WWII in St. Louis. Later, after marriage she worked for Miss Hullings Cafeteria in St. Louis. Eula enjoyed her family, reading local newspapers, talking on the phone with her friends, gardening, feeding her birds, watching her favorite preachers on TV, and shopping at Wal-Mart.
Eula professed a faith in Christ at The Hickory Grove Assembly of God in Bixby, MO. She also attended Boss Assembly of God and Edgehill Assembly of God.
Eula was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Arnold, and her son, Steve; two sisters, Beulah Conrad and Ruby Hackworth.
Eula is survived by two daughters, Judy Cook and husband Ronnie of Centerville, MO, Regina Richardson and husband Don of Springfield, MO, six grandchildren, Ronnie Lee Cook and wife, Tonya, Jonathan Cook and wife Christie, Tori (Cook) Farrar, Jennifer (Richardson) Spring and husband, Brandon, Rebecca (Richardson) Mouser and husband Clay and Jeff Richardson and wife Samantha, 10 great-grandchildren, and her brother, Edwin Foster of Oates, MO. Eula will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
