After we returned from Belfast in March, we reviewed the last day visit to Falls Road Cemetery, Belfast and concluded that this - the biggest in Belfast at 99 acres - should hold the grave of William Robinson if he was in Belfast. Well eventually we looked at the other cemetery (by look I mean by phone this time) and first of all the Falls Road lad, Patrick found Eliza Jane and this morning Una, Dundonald Cemetery, East Belfast this morning found the details of the 5 other people in lair with Eliza Jane
1. Eliza Jane Robinson buried 29.1.1923 aged 77 years (George 1840?s wife, age correct, buried 3 days after she died)
2. Stillborn to Rose & Thomas Robinson buried 5.12.1931 (Thomas was George 1866's son, born about
1905)
3. Margaret Robinson buried 7.1.1934 aged 8 months (probably belongs to Rose & Thomas)
4. George Robinson buried 2.9.1936 aged 64 years (George 1840?s son but should be 70 by his birth certificate or 67 by his 1911 census entry. George was on the electoral roll in 1936 but not 1937)
5. Annie Robinson buried 4.9.1956 aged 75 years (George 1866?s wife, approx. the right age)
6. William Robinson buried 14.3.1960 aged 57 years (George 1866?s son, approx. the right age)
So the descendants of George 1840 are as follows:
1 George Robinson 1866 - 1936 born: June 10, 1866 in Kilmore,
Down, Ireland, buried: September 2, 1936 in 10 Susan St, Belfast. Age at
death: 70
+Annie Wamsley 1880 - 1956 born: abt. 1880 in Co Down, married:
abt. 1898 buried: September 4,
1956 in Belfast. Age at death: 76 est.
2 Maggie Robinson 1900 - born: abt. 1900 in Co Antrim, Ireland
2 Willie Robinson 1904 - 1960 born: abt. 1904 in Co Antrim,
Ireland, buried: March 14, 1960 in Belfast. Age at death: 56 est.
2 Thomas Robinson 1905 - born: abt. 1905 in Co Antrim, Ireland
+Rose
3 Stillborn Robinson 1931 - buried: December 5, 1931
3 Margaret Robinson 1933 - 1934 born: Abt. May 1933 in
Belfast, buried: January 7, 1934 in Belfast. Age at death: 0.
2 Annie Robinson 1906 - born: September 13, 1906 in Co Antrim,
Ireland
2 Edward Robinson 1908 - born: December 22, 1908 in Co Antrim,
N. Ireland (entered PA in 1909).
So Annie survived in Belfast to 1956, but still no sign of Mary Jane Kennedy
or Lizzie Morrison (or William!)
