The Masonic Lodge Naval No. 87 F&AM will officiate. Burial will be at Skyview Memorial Lawn in Vallejo. Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the chapel. Mr. Trolinder died on Feb. 19, 2000, at a local hospital after a short illness. Born on May 6, 1905, in St. Jo, Texas, he lived in Vallejo for 40 years. He worked as a mechanic and machinist at Mare Island Naval Shipyard and Travis Air Force Base for a total of 35 years before retiring in 1970. He was a cotton gin farmer in Texas and started a cotton gin in Brownfield, Texas. He moved to California in 1941 and worked at Kaiser Steel until 1946. He built the 4th Street Garage in 1946 and converted the garage to a grocery store in 1947, calling it the 4th Street Food Center, before it was eventually called Sonoma Self Service. He was a member of Masonic Lodge Naval No. 87 F&AM, Molino Chapter No. 83 of Los Molinos and OES. Mr. Trolinder is survived by a daughter, 4 sons, 3 sisters and 2 brothers, He also had 26 grandchildren, 69 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, LuVee; and son, Levert.
