  	James Fitzer, 70, of Whitefield died Monday, September 3, 2007. He was an Army veteran, a deacon at Rocky Ridge Church and a 1955 graduate of Stigler High School. Funeral services were at 10:00 A.M. Thursday at Whitefield Baptist Church under the direction of King & Shearwood Funeral Home of Stigler. Interment followed in Lona Valley cemetery in Quinton. He was survived by his wife, Reta; a daughter, Carol Apple of Whitefield; four sisters, Virginia Spears, Ramona Mitchell, Naoma Cox and Juanita Townley; and three brothers, Bill, John and Joe Fitzer. Pallbearers were Jason and Gerald Davis, Doren Smith, Jeff Bean, Leon Johnson and Toby Wren.
