  	Nanette A. Barros, 78, was born September 25, 1929 in Stockton, CA and passed away after a long battle with Alz-heimer's disease, November 13, 2007. Mrs. Barros was a lifetime Stockton resident and worked as an evaluator for San Joaquin Delta College for 10 years. She served as president of St. Joseph's Hospital Auxiliary, as well as their first and second vice president. She was also chairman of their ethics and evaluation and the policy committees. Mrs Barros served as first vice president and president of the Stockton Ballet Guild and was chairman of the Stockton Symphony Ballet. She served on the board for the PTAs at El Dorado and Lincoln Elementary schools and had been a group captain for the American Cancer Society. She also assisted with Blue Bird and Camp Fire Girls activities. She was the beloved wife for 53 years of William Barros of Stockton. Devoted mother of Holly Bevilaqua (Dave) of Stockton and Mary Barros-Semler (Doug) of Santa Cruz. Loving grandmother of Christopher, John and Anna Bevilaqua and Angela and Cassidy Semler. The Barros family would especially like to thank Meadowood for their loving and compassionate care provided over the years.
