  Martin raised percheron horses. Martin Henry Drollinger moved from Wabash, IN to near Gardner, IL when he was a teenager. In 1881, the same year he married Ida, they moved to a farm on the Platte River near Lowell, NE between Kenesaw, Minden and Kearney, NE. He and Ida had five children, three boys and two girls. Ida passed away within three days of giving birth to her youngest child, Frederick. Henry married his second and final wife, Azalia about fourteen months later and together they had five children as well, only this time it was three girls and two boys. (Ref Jacob produced three different Family Group Records for his father, Martin - one which inludes both wives, one for Martin and his first wife, Ida Clara Simpkins and one for Martin and his second wife, Azalia Emiline Roberts, the mother of Jake. That explains why you might see different ones associated with various facts that he gives. He has some info included on one which he does not on the others and visa versa. However, the vitals seem to be consistent between the three of them. They were all produced by Martin and Azalia's son, Jacob "Jake" Manford and given to me, David H. Drollinger, by him.) (David H.
