  	Obituaries - 2/21/2007 By: North County Times Virginia Drollinger, 92 SAN MARCOS - Virginia Ann Drollinger, 92, died of leukemia Tuesday, Feb. 13, 2007, at her home. Born Dec. 31, 1914, in Red Oak, Iowa, she lived in San Marcos for 34 years. She was a longtime member of Meadowlark Community Church. She enjoyed china painting and creating and selling crafts for her church. Her passion was her God and her church. Mrs. Drollinger was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Jacob Drollinger, in 1998; son Frederick Drollinger in 1999; and daughter Sue Zann Blancheri in 2000. She is survived by her granddaughter and her husband, Deborah and David Steinmetz; grandson and his wife, Scott and Jennifer Scanlon; and two great-grandsons. Private interment is planned. The family suggests donations to Lightbridge Hospice, 5280 Carroll Canyon Road, Suite 310, San Diego, CA 92121. Greenwood Mortuary in San Diego is handling arrangements.
