Thelma Dean Hollyfield Lawson, 86, of 1708 Glenside Drive, diedMonday, June 14, 2004, at Wesley Long Nursing Center, Jamestown.
Graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at LakeviewMemorial Park, conducted by the Rev. Richard Geiger.
Mrs. Lawson was born on Aug. 18, 1917, in Danville, Va., to the lateJeffrey and Irene Jenkins Hollyfield. She was a practical nurse. Shewas preceded in death by her husband, Sterling D. Lawson.
She is survived by daughters and husbands, Terry and John McCracken ofGreensboro and Sandra and Bill Trollinger of Greensboro; sister NellieDillard of Greensboro; grandchildren, Kay and husband Larry Thomas ofBrown Summit, Jeff Swink of Greensboro, Scott Trollinger of Greensboroand Alan Trollinger of Orlando, Fla.; great-grandchild ChristopherThomas of Brown Summit.
The family will be at her home, 1708 Glenside Drive, Greensboro thisevening.
The family wishes to thank everyone at Wesley Long Nursing Center forthe loving care of our mother, especially her angel, Sandra Staley.
